Job Title
Housekeeping Attendant
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage housekeeping inventory and supplies
- Ensure timely delivery and release of laundered guest items
- Coordinate flower and linen requests for special occasions
- Prepare and track lost and found reports monthly
- Monitor uniform conditions and arrange for cleaning or repairs
- Maintain proper documentation for internal department procedures
- Replace laundry team members during absences or time off
- Ensure timely processing of laundry expenses and reporting
- Monitor team performance and provide input to supervisors
- Support efficient room turnover and release processes
- Uphold safety and cleanliness policies in all guest and back-of-house areas
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
1-2 years experience in housekeeping or laundry operations.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities
- Clear and effective communication
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
Knowledge
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards
- Understanding of guest service best practices
- Knowledge of laundry operations and garment care
- Inventory control processes
- Workplace hygiene and safety guidelines
