Responsibilities of Housekeeping Attendant

• Clean floors, walls, furniture, cupboards etc. of guest room.
• Clean patio and furniture.
• Clean guest bathroom; restock linen and amenities.
• Collect garbage from all receptacles in guestroom.
• Strip and remake beds according to hotel standard.
• Clean and check lamps and light fixtures.
• Clean and fill ice buckets.
• Check and replace hotel collateral and stationary as necessary.
• To attend to any extra requirements of the guest.
• To promptly inform the Supervisor of any defects or maintenance work required in the guest rooms.
• To inform the Supervisor of guest comments or complaints.
• To ensure that the trolleys and cubby holes are kept clean and tidy at all times
• Ensure that all garbage is remove from the trolley, corridor and cubby hole are clean and tidy before going off duty.
• Ensure that all linen caddies are place in the originally position on the corridors before going off duty.
• Be polite and courteous to guest/staff at all times.
• Consistently provide professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Any other reasonable requests made by Management.

Requirements of Housekeeping Attendant

• High School diploma or certification in hospitality or tourism.
• 1+ years of prior experience as housekeeping attendant.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Writing, reading & oral proficiency in the English language.
• Must be well presented and professionally groomed at all times.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
