Purpose of A House Attendant

Maintain cleanliness & orderliness within hotel facilities to provide comfortable environment and ambience for customers.

Job Duties of A House Attendant

• Consistently offers professional & friendly service to the customers.
• Daily inspection of buildings to check the sweeping, mopping & vacuumig of hallways and stairs.
• Frequently visit storage areas to check the cleanliness.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry rooms, emptying and restocking machines.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, ensuring that they are prepared for the arrival of new guests including making beds, changing bed sheets, vacuuming, cleaning & dusting.
• Maintain and upkeep of the grounds such as lawn mowing, weed cutting and snow removal in winters etc.
• Empty recycling centers located on the staff housing grounds.
• Assist in moving of heavy furniture / appliances as required from one place to other.
• Report necessary maintenance and work orders to the Staff Housing office.
• Welcome new colleagues and provide necessary information pertaining to rooms as well as facilities.
• Take care of guests privacy and safety of their belongings.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum a high school.
• 2 years of experience in customer service role.

Skills Desired

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management.
• Physically fit as role demands standing and walking throughout shift and lifting furniture and appliances.
