Job Purpose of A Hostess

Create a soothing and comfortable dining experience for the customers through efficient and well coordinated dining services.

Job Duties of A Hostess

• Warmly welcome the guests as they arrive in the hotel or dining area.
• Guide the guests to their respective tables.
• Properly present the menu to guests and provide guidance to the desired items if asked by them.
• Take order in a professional way & convey it to the kitchen supervisor.
• Serve the guests, ensuring they have an exceptional drinking & dining experience.
• Creating lasting memories and building relationships through provision of efficient dining services.
• Assists in the prepartions of tables for the incoming customers as per Hyatt’s dining standards.
• Handle cash and credit card payments and manage the inventory of the outlet.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the higher hotel management or which may fall within the scope of job duties.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma in hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in hotel operations.
• Russian language will be a plus point.
