Job Description
ENGIE Cofely Energy Services LLC is looking for a skilled HGV driver to join our team in the UAE. This full-time, on-site role is perfect for someone who enjoys driving and can safely transport people, materials, and equipment. You’ll also help with small tasks and keep the vehicle clean and running well. If you are reliable, safety-focused, and have a valid UAE driver’s license, we’d love to hear from you.

- Location: UAE (specific site will be shared after selection)
- Work Type: Full-time, on-site
- Division: ESI AMEA – GCC & Pakistan – UAE
What will an HGV Driver do?
- Drive safely to transport staff, materials, and equipment
- Take care of the company vehicle assigned to you
- Load and unload materials as needed
- Make sure all cargo is secure and safe
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good shape
- Check the vehicle daily for any problems
- Report any accidents, injuries, or damage right away
- Fill out travel logs and keep records of maintenance
- Help with tasks like picking up lunch, errands, or deliveries
- Follow all road safety rules and company policies
- Dress neatly and follow the company dress code
- Support the technical team with transport for maintenance work
- Use a two-way radio to communicate (especially with airport tower, if needed)
- Work well with other departments for smooth operations
What are we looking for?
- Valid UAE driving license
- Preferably passed the Airport Driving Permit Test (Red Category)
- At least 3 years of driving experience
- Secondary School Certificate
- Good understanding of traffic laws and transportation rules
- Able to lift heavy loads when needed
- Strong attention to safety
- Clean driving record
- Good at time management and planning routes
- Skilled in basic car maintenance (oil changes, refueling, battery checks)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to speak and understand local and international languages
- Friendly, focused, and confident personality
- Knowledge of local areas, airports, hotels, and offices
- Leadership and coordination skills are a plus
