Job Description
Transportation industry is seeking a skilled and responsible individual to join their team as a Driver. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. The driver will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and/or passengers.
Responsibilities of Driver
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and/or passengers to designated locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the appropriate department.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and other relevant information.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or passengers.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Requirements of Driver
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Proven experience of 1-2 years as a driver (specific requirements may vary based on the role).
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
