Responsibilities

  • Drive heavy vehicles to haul workers, materials, and gear to sites.
  • Check vehicles before and after trips to keep them in top nick.
  • Stick to UAE traffic rules, speed limits, and safety protocols.
  • Keep an eye on workers during transport and at sites.
  • Log daily activities, progress, and any hiccups accurately.
  • Make sure passengers follow safety rules on the road.
  • Lend a hand loading and unloading gear when needed.
  • Do basic vehicle upkeep and flag mechanical issues fast.
  • Chat clearly with teammates, bosses, and clients.
  • Handle changing road or weather conditions like a pro.
  • Plan routes using maps or GPS for quick, safe trips.
  • Work odd hours, including early mornings or weekends, as rostered.

Requirements

Education

No formal education required.

A valid UAE commercial driver’s license (e.g., Category 4) is a must.

Experience

Minimum 3 years driving heavy-duty vehicles, preferably in the UAE.

Skills

  • Solid skills in handling big vehicles in tight spots.
  • Sharp focus on safety and sticking to traffic rules.
  • Good communicator to gel with team and clients.
  • Fit enough for long drives and occasional lifting.
  • Organized to keep logs and schedules on point.

Knowledge
