Responsibilities

  • Haul workers and materials to sites in a truck.
  • Inspect trucks before and after trips for safety.
  • Follow UAE traffic rules and Egis safety guidelines.
  • Make sure passengers buckle up every trip.
  • Pitch in to load or unload heavy gear when needed.
  • Track trips and any issues in a daily logbook.
  • Report truck problems or crashes to the boss right away.
  • Pick the quickest routes to dodge traffic.
  • Talk clearly with site crews and managers.
  • Drive safely in bad weather or heavy traffic.
  • Check tires, oil, and other basics on the truck.
  • Stay polite and professional with clients and staff.
  • Work odd hours like early mornings or weekends.
  • Keep the truck clean and ready to go.

Requirements

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is needed.

Experience

Must have 1-3 years driving heavy vehicles like trucks or trailers.

Skills

  • Valid UAE commercial driver’s license.
