Job Description

Al Nabooda Automobiles presently has job opening for eligible candidate for position of a Heavy Duty Driver in Dubai, UAE. This job has recently been posted by Al Naboodah Automobiles and is open for all willing candidates to apply.

Job Purpose of A Heavy Duty Driver

To transport personnel, vehicles and documentation as required and to assist with general office duties as directed.

Duties of A Heavy Duty Driver

Vehicle Maintenance

  • Maintain the company vehicles and take the necessary precautions in terms of servicing and maintenance.
  • Ensure and maintain a zero traffic fine or casualty record, through safe and disciplined driving.

Driving

  • Transport Al Nabooda Automobile employees from company accommodation to place of work, with courtesy, efficiency, ensuring that they are able to start work at the required time.
  • Pick up and deliver documents and cheques etc to various locations as directed.
  • Transport vehicles from various locations in the UAE delivering them safely to the correct destination.
  • Clear all new vehicles from ports and transport to required location (storage location or workshops).
  • Drive the company vehicles safely, observing all traffic rules.

Operational

  • Support the Manager Logistics in implementing the departmental policies and procedures; ensure that all internal guidelines are followed.

Personal Development

  • Maintain and develop own skills and technical knowledge using a development plan agreed with the line manager.
  • Attend an annual appraisal in line with the company policy and procedures.
  • Attend regular staff meetings, using them as a basis for the communication of any ideas for improvement in processes or cost savings.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

  • High school education.

Experience

  • 1 year experience in similar position.
  • 1 year experience driving in the UAE.
