Head/Senior Therapist Talise Spa Jumeirah Al Qasr Dubai

An opportunity has arisen for a Head/Senior Therapist to join the team of Talise Spa in Jumeirah Al Qasr. The job holder will be responsible to oversee the spa and wellness operations, leading a team to deliver exceptional treatments, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain high standards of service, contributing to the overall relaxation and rejuvenation experience for guests.

Responsibilities of Head/Senior Therapist

• Regularly inspect treatment rooms to ensure they meet cleanliness standards.
• Collaborate with Spa Treatment Manager to develop and implement a monthly training schedule.
• Aid in the design and administration of monthly quizzes and assessments.
• Administer spa treatments to guests using safe and professional methods.
• Provide support in various capacities, such as serving as Spa Receptionist and managing retail skincare sales.
• Stay updated on current spa services and skincare products.
• Address guest inquiries regarding services, products and facility-related inquiries.
• Coordinate spa services with other programs as necessary.
• Keep professional licenses up to date.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment to Spa Treatment Manager or Duty Manager.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of spa operations, including phone etiquette, guest relations, sales, and various services.
• Supervise and motivate therapists, setting and tracking retail targets.
• Monitor and maintain training records, submitting monthly reports.
• Manage inventory for trolleys, reporting low stock to the Assistant Spa Manager for replenishment.
• Report any product shortages or sanitation issues.
• Assist in the operations of reception and boutique areas as needed.
• Stay informed about competitors’ services, pricing, and locations.
• Develop and update service manuals.
• Attend meetings with product vendors as required.
• Ensure compliance with LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards through training and assessment reviews.

Requirements of Head/Senior Therapist 

• Completed a state required therapy anatomy and physiology program or obtained an internationally acknowledged therapy certification.
• At least 2 years of experience as a senior or a head therapist in a luxury hotel.
