Michael Page has an opportunity for Head of Legal & Compliance to join leading Middle East health care business in UAE. This is a good opportunity to lead the legal team of a growing healthcare business. The job offers interesting, broad, work on offer including Corporate, Litigation and Compliance. This job position is the head of both the legal and the compliance practices within the organisation. On the legal side, there will be a focus on Corporate work but any experience in disputes would be very welcome. The legal work is currently being outsourced to external counsel so the incumbent will also be expected to manage these relationships. The role will be suitable for someone coming from an in-house position who has this experience in their current role but is looking for a new opportunity with room to grow. Over the last 5 years, the organisation has tripled in size and they are looking to continue this growth trajectory moving forward.

Requirements of Head of Legal & Compliance

• Mid to senior level Corporate focused lawyer.
• Law degree holder.
• 3+ years of experience in similar role.
• Compliance experience from having worked in-house. You will ideally have been working in a relevant sector (i.e. health care or retail).

Skills and Abilities Desired

• Fluently bi-lingual (Arabic and English).
• Good communication skills.
