Head of IT PMO Flydubai Dubai

Head of IT PMO at Flydubai in ENI Sapphire Tower Office number 6, Al Ittihad Road. Port Saeed, Deira Dubai, UAE will be responsible to manage the strategic portfolio within IT across various cross-functional business areas, including preparing business case preparations, securing capex approval by Cost Review Board, executing plans, monitoring risk management and ensuring delivery within the approved costs and project timelines. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 25000-45000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Head of IT PMO

• Develops a comprehensive framework, in collaboration with business departments, for constructing business cases, initiating, developing executing projects, while also documenting the project’s scope, budget justifications.
• Drives the development of an ecosystem of strategic partners that enables the delivery of innovative, cost effective and high quality business solutions and services.
• Develops and leads the IT partner and supplier strategy for flydubai, overseeing all aspects of the supplier lifecycle to ensure alignment with strategic goals and successful delivery by partners.
• Leads and governs the Portfolio Management of application and infrastructure portfolios, ensuring alignment with business strategy oversees the monitoring, tracking reporting of projects against IT business performance metrics, including delivery, support, unit cost and ROI.
• Undertakes strategy creation for contingency planning and project risk mitigation/issue resolution across the flydubai IT projects portfolio.
• Ensures the fulfillment of personnel and cost-related demands within the IT department, facilitating the operational effectiveness of IT lines of business.
• Overseeing functions that govern the areas of technology business management, IT performance, commercial and contract management complex billing.
• Plans and schedules project goals, milestones deliverables to ensure conflict amongst the project portfolio does not occur (stakeholder, resourcing technology conflict).
• Defines & maintains PMO standards & procedures for all parts of the project life cycle & flydubai development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
• Leads and guides decision-making that extend beyond the project level, providing a flydubai project portfolio perspective on individual projects serving as a sounding board for ideas and approaches to address specific project issues and conflict resolution.
• Identifies and manages cross-project dependencies and risks, recognizing economies of scale and instances of overlap in project goals.
• Reports the progress of projects detailing both advancements and challenges, including risks and issues with associated mitigations.
• Resolutions presents corresponding solutions to the C-Level and Senior Management teams, including relevant business departments.

Requirements for Role of Head of IT PMO

• Master’s Degree in IT or Engineering.
• PMI / ITIL certification.
• SIX Sigma accreditation is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management.
• Experience in managing large IT portfolio of projects
• Experience in developing strategic partnerships
• Experience in workforce planning and management for large IT organization
