Head of Distribution Seddiqi Holding Dubai

Seddiqi Holding is looking to hire a Head of Distribution in Mizzen (Luxury Sporting Goods) in Umm Al Sheif, Dubai, UAE to take full responsibility for the distribution strategy for a major global sports brand with a fast expanding presence in the Middle East. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on this brand and make a success of it not only in the UAE but with the expansion into other countries across the Middle East. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 20000-45000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Head of Distribution

• Build the wholesale & distribution strategy over the region.
• Take charge of the distribution P&L.
• Build the budget by channel.
• Recruit & manage the distribution team.
• Set the commercial terms.
• Liaise with the legal department to build a standard distribution agreement.
• Set the pricing strategy (price structure by market, alignment with international pricing.
• Organize the seasonal selling campaigns.
• Liaise with the Marketing team to design marketing plans that build brand awareness, attract new customers, and foster loyalty in existing customers.
• Liaise with Visual Merchandising team to guarantee brands visual and image guidelines support business growth and brand visibility.
• Liaise with the brand and training team to develop bespoke training programs.

Requirements for Role of Head of Distribution

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Regional experience in wholesale with in-depth connections with the key regional stakeholders.
• Distribution experience within the sports market (lifestyle, athleisure, footwear etc.).
• At least 15+ year of experience in this space.
• Extensive team management and building experience from global talent pools.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Fluent in English, while Arabic will also be advantageous.
• Ability to pursue and capture new business opportunities and develop new channels and markets.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen.
