Head of Corporate Workspace Interior Design Plum Jobs Dubai

Plum Jobs is actively hiring a UAE experienced senior level Head of Design with a strong career in corporate offices and workspace design and build, for their trusted client, who is a well established international architecture and interior design firm specializing in corporate workspace design and build projects. The role will be primarily responsible for building and managing a design team who excel in conceptualizing and designing state of the art corporate offices and workspace areas. Candidate must have strategic workplace consultancy, technical architecture design expertise together with P&L management, commercial acumen and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities of Head Of Corporate Workspace Interior Design

• Build the firm’s interior design and architecture practice in Dubai – develop superior quality workplace strategies aligned with client objectives, industry best practices, and emerging trends in workplace design.
• Strategic Planning & Design Management of Clients’ Workplaces – oversee the design and coordination functions from initial design, award through to project planning, delivery and completion review.
• Project Scope: Conduct workplace and space analysis, assist with technical aspects of tenders and support business development initiatives.
• Provide guidance on the design proposals.
• Client Relationship Management – primary contact for clients, understanding their business requirements and translating them into superior workplace design projects.

Requirements of Head of Corporate Workspace Interior Design

• Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• RIBA qualifications.
• NCIDQ is an advantage.
• 10-15 years mid to senior level experience in sustainable and eco-friendly corporate offices & workspace interior design, design development and new build, project leadership and strategic workplace consultancy services.
• Experience of building, leading and coaching a design team.
• Currently living in the UAE, must be able to live and work in Dubai.

Skills And Abilities Desired

• A deep understanding of 360-degree design & build processes in the UAE feasibility studies, procurement process.
• Understanding of bid management, project award, project design, construction & handover.
• Up to date knowledge of UAE local and environmental safety regulations related to workspace new build & refurbishments.
• Deep understanding of behaviourial aspects of workplace & organizational psychology, employee engagement surveys & workshops & employee experience change management.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead presentations to C-suite decision makers
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
