Head of Corporate Governance Albatha Group Dubai

Albatha Group is seeking to hire a candidate for the job role of a Head of Corporate Governance to join their team in Level 22, Boulevard Plaza, Tower 1, Suite 2204, Downtown Dubai, Dubai, UAE. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 20000-45000 AED/month.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date corporate records and statutory registers.
• Organize and attend board meetings and shareholders’ meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
• File the minutes of the shareholders’ meetings and board meetings, when required.
• Assist in the drafting and filing of regulatory reports and disclosures.
• Lead initiatives to enhance and strengthen the company’s corporate governance framework.
• Develop, implement, and maintain corporate governance policies and procedures.
• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and advise the board on any necessary action.
• Monitor compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance guidelines.
• Provide advice to the board on corporate governance matters and best practices.
• Liaise between the board and the Albatha legal departments.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on corporate governance matters.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with corporate governance standards.
• Prepare and present reports on corporate governance practices to senior management and the board of directors.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in corporate governance.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure consistent application of corporate governance principles throughout the organization.

Requirements for Role of Head of Corporate Governance

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in corporate governance, legal, compliance, or related roles.
