Head of Compliance Charterhouse Dubai

Charterhouse is working with a global Financial Brokerage firm based in Dubai, who is currently looking to hire a Head of Compliance to join their DIFC office. This is a full time job.

Responsibilities

• Leading the Compliance department, and will be the main point of contact for the UAE office.
• Fully remain compliant with the requirements of the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and the DIFC, as well as any other relevant regulators.
• Serve as an advisory role to the business and will be tasked with reviewing and improving existing compliance procedures, especially structure of the internal and external auditing processes.
• Maintain dialogue with the regulatory authorities, therefore experience within DIFC and a DFSA regulated firm is very important.

Requirements of Head of Compliance

• Bachelor’s degree.
•  A wealth of experience in a similar role with at least 7 years of experience in a senior compliance position, mostly working with the DFSA.

Skills and Abilities Desired

• Wider understanding of laws and regulations in the UAE.

• Be able to provide guidance to the compliance department with regard to the laws and regulations.
