Responsibilities of Head of Commercial Affairs

  • Oversee and Control Sales & Purchasing Contracts:
  • Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies.
  • Negotiate terms of purchase for veterinary vaccines.
  • Monitor and enforce contract compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of veterinary vaccines.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize commercial operations and drive business growth in the veterinary vaccines trading market.
  • Manage production schedules and ensure timely delivery of vaccines to meet customer demand.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Oversee all aspects of foreign trade, including import/export compliance, customs regulations, and logistics coordination.
  • Lead procurement efforts by sourcing high-quality vaccines from reliable manufacturers and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers.
  • Act as a key relationship manager for clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

Control Documentation:

  • Manage and control all documentation related to purchasing and sales contracts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of specifications, packaging lists, and certificates.
  • Oversee the maintenance of contract terms and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to streamline documentation processes.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing commercial operations team.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and regulatory affairs, to develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business expansion and innovation.
  • Implement and maintain robust systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Requirements of Head of Commercial Affairs

  • Master’s degree in business administration, commerce, or related field; Ph.D. preferred.
  • 10 years in commercial operations in Import/export, veterinary vaccines trading.
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred.

Skills and Abilities Desired

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strategic thinker, understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards.
