The successful candidate will be responsible for sales & business development for B2B beverage business in GCC, Africa, Levant & Iraq. Responsibilities of A Head of Business Development

  • Achieve sales and budget target for JCDC systems and ingredients business in GCC +.
  • Build KA Sales and distributor plans by the channel by the country for Systems and ingredients business.
  • Identify & develop a pipeline of projects with leading L&E and Coffee Chains in the region.
  • Meeting new business targets across Key accounts for JCDC brands & Bespoke products by meeting sales calls & innovation session targets for effective market coverage.
  • Working with R&D, application & Marketing Teams to bring new/novel concepts to market & generate new business from KA’s.
  • Build IBS image in the L&E and Coffee Channel through tie ups, sponsorships, events & trade shows.
  • Work with KA’s & internal teams to build an effective LTO calendar for Systems and Ingredients business.
  • Analyze market trends and develop concepts for institutional customer along with R&D & Barista Teams.
  • Strong presentation & customer engagement Skills with innovative concept selling skills.
  • Develop and train distributor technical and sales team on systems and ingredients.
  • Customer Touch Points in F&B, Procurement & Event teams.
  • Coordinate and follow up on the distribution opportunities to deliver on distribution objectives.
  • Ensure internal team of Baristas, marketing, R&D, Commercialization, CS, Sales & distributor sales teams are in line with overall company vision and strategy.
  • Extensively travel of up to 60% to ensure implantation of sales processes and convert business development leads.

Requirements for Role of Head of Business Development

The eligibility requirements for role a Head of Business Development are as under:

  • MBA or International Business Graduate.
  • 10+ years of experience in similar role in the international markets including GCC.
  • Key Accounts Sales Experience in Food Service.
