Sofitel Dubai The Palm is presently recruiting suitably qualified and skilled candidate for the role of Guest Services Officer Fitness. The role holder is responsible to provide excellent customer service in the fitness area, ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests, assist with fitness-related inquiries, and maintain the quality and standards of the fitness facilities.
Responsibilities of Guest Services Officer Fitness
- To be a Heartist of the hotel, in and outside the work place.
- To always keep the working area clean and well maintained.
- To provide safe working environment using appropriate materials, equipments and supplies.
- To properly use the telephone etiquette as per Sofitel standards.
- To attend to all guests approaching the Fitness Centre with inquiries or wanting to use the facilities, respecting the hotel standards and procedures.
- To offer a warm welcome to all guests and ensure that they enjoy their stay.
- To personally greet and escort the guests rather than pointing out directions.
- To respect the privacy of the guests and the confidentiality of the information.
- To manage any guest complaint in a professional manner, by resolving it, recording it and making sure the guest is satisfy.
- To call the supervisor or manager for advice in serious cases or if an approval is required.
Requirements of Guest Services Officer Fitness
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, tourism, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in similar role.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Good communication and customer contact skills.
- Service oriented with an eye for details.
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
- Minimum 1 Year of relevant experience.
- Must be well presented and professionally groomed at all times.
