Responsibilities of Guest Services Executive

  • Provide guests a unique and outstanding experience.
  • Exhibit a friendly and professional demeanor in all guest interactions, warmly welcome and orient guests and provide effective and efficient guest service.
  • Give a warm welcome to guests on arrival and register them as well as issuing room keys in the appropriate welcome booklet
  • Display a friendly and professional manner in all interactions with guests

  • Assist guests with general inquiries about the hotel and its facilities, as well as daily events and functions
  • Inspect the rooms of VIP guests prior to their arrival at the hotel
  • Conduct curb side check ins and escorting of guests to the rooms
  • Assist with check ins, check outs, and concierge duties when needed
  • Provide tours of the hotel and its facilities as requested
  • Order and ensure timely delivery of amenities for VIP arrivals and requests

  • Assist with group registration when required
  • Conduct pre-arrival calls or emails to guests to reconfirm their reservation and obtain additional information and preferences during the stay
  • Ensure a clean profile and reservation for all guests arriving
  • Assist in the writing and maintenance of guest history
  • Print and action Guest Relations traces
  • Preparing the arrival report for the next day and highlighting all VIP guests
  • Carry out courtesy calls to guests in house

What You’ll Do More?

  • Guest Relations emails and E-Butler to be responded to in a timely manner
  • Prepare and update welcome letters
  • Run the birthday report of in-house guests and arrange the amenities accordingly
  • Search and prepare the I Know You report
  • Prepare and send out the I Know You Better for special highlighted VIPs
  • Perform any related duties and special projects as requested by the Guest Relations Managers or Guest Relations Team Leaders
  • Adhere to the Jumeirah HEART and ASPIRE standards, grooming standards and all Step by Step procedures
  • Comply with the resort’s health, safety and hygiene procedures and products
  • Be aware of the resort’s fire and emergency procedure
  • Prepare next day’s  arrival list, along with amenities requisition.
  • Check arrivals list for the following day, allocate rooms for VIP guests and guests with special requirements.
  • Order and ensure timely delivery of amenities for all arrival and in-house  and Suite guests.
  • Inspect the rooms of all and Suite guests prior to their arrival at the hotel.
  • Attend to special requests made by VIP and Suite guests prior to, during, or after their stay.
  • Print and action Guest Services trace report.
  • Escort arriving guests to their rooms whenever possible after the registration procedure has been completed at the Front Desk.

  • Assist guests with general inquiries about the hotel and its facilities, as well as daily events and functions.

Requirements of Guest Service Executive

The requirements of Guest Service Executive are as under:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Entry level or Minimum 1 year role as a Guest Relations Executive/Agent or a similar role in 5 star hotel of multicultural environment.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sufficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, HotSOS, and Opera PMS).
  • Flexible schedule in order to meet demands of hotel occupancy.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Preferably speaks an additional language Russian and Germen is desirable.
