An exciting opportunity has opened up in Horizon Club for a Guest Relations Officer. The successful applicant will be the go-to for Shangri-La Circle and VIP guests, making sure that all their needs are met whilst staying with here at Shangri-La Qaryat al Beri.
Responsibilities of Guest Relations Officer
- Maintain a high standard of service and professionalism.
- Be an ambassador for the hotel.
- Be a point of call for all Shangri-La Circle members, VIP’s and Special Attention Guest’s.
- Work with Hotel colleagues to keep excellent service standards.
- Empathetically listen to client queries/complaints and work with colleagues/Service Manager to find solutions.
- Remain aware of all fire prevention/safety regulations and ensure that they are adhered to.
- Remain aware of all activities/goings-on within Qaryat al Beri.
- Be a focal point for what is happening within Abu-Dhabi, including events, restaurants, nightlife and family functions.
- Assist other departments where necessary.
Requirements of Guest Relations Officer
- Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, tourism, or a related field.
- 2+ years previous experience in luxury hospitality/customer service.
Skills Desired
- A high standard of etiquette.
- Proficiency in Chinese/ Russian/ German or French languages
- Efficiency and punctuality.
- Attention to detail.
- A warm and friendly character.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
