Responsibilities of Guest Relations Executive

  • Offer assistance to guests by addressing general inquiries about the hotel, its facilities, and daily events and functions.
  • Conduct pre-arrival calls or send emails to guests, confirming their reservations and gathering additional information and preferences for their stay.
  • Prior to the arrival of VIP guests, meticulously inspect their assigned rooms to ensure a high standard of accommodation.
  • Perform curbside check-ins, providing a personalized touch by escorting guests to their designated rooms.
  • Actively participate in check-ins, check-outs, and concierge duties as necessary, contributing to a seamless guest experience.
  • Fulfill requests for tours of the hotel and its facilities, offering guests a comprehensive understanding of the amenities available.
  • Take responsibility for ordering and ensuring the timely delivery of amenities for VIP arrivals, as well as catering to special requests and arrangements made by guests.
  • Handle guest complaints effectively and refer them as necessary, ensuring follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Timely preparation of requisitions for amenities to meet guest expectations.
  • Perform any related duties and special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of guest relations and hotel operations.

Requirements of Guest Relations Executive

  • High School diploma or certification in hospitality.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a 5-star hotel in the same role capacity.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in English and a second language (Russian, German, Arabic or French) would be an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of computer systems (Windows, Internet Explorer, and Word) and familiarity with Opera .
