Guest Relations Executive Food and Beverage Jumeirah Emirates Towers

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Guest Relations Executive to join the Food and Beverage Services team in Jumeirah Emirates Towers. The main purpose of this role is to welcome and seat restaurant customers in a friendly and efficient manner and provide memorable welcome experience to all the guests. Needs to manage daily restaurant booking system and keeping all the guest profiles updated.  Candidate is required to work in a variety of air-conditioned environments but may also be required to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions. Maybe required to work in split-shifts and late-night shifts and will also be exposed to a smoky environment. Candidate is also an ambassador of the excellence of the service delivered in the hotel with ensuring all suppliers are provided with a warm, friendly, courteous, informative and efficient service in all areas.

Responsibilities of Guest Relations Executive

• Ensures that all activities adhere to and support the Jumeirah International Quality Management System.
• Maintains working knowledge and always follows all departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintains a full awareness of restaurant layout and table plans to maximize potential covers and sittings.
• Promptly and professionally greets and escort the guest to their allocated tables.
• Maintains an effective reservation system to maximize the potential number of covers and to meet customers required needs.
• Actively monitors customer satisfaction upon guest departure and reports any problems to supervisor/ manager.
• Builds relationships with first-time and regular customers through guest recognition and professionalism.
•  Actively check all the guest enquires and follow up on proposal sent.
• Assists service colleagues with table and/ or counter service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
•  Assists service colleagues to provide table and/ or counter service of all menu items.
•  Develops and updates food and beverage knowledge required to carry out duties.
•  Provides advice on food and beverages to guests.
•  Keep the hostess desk well equipped and all the menus needs to neat and clean.

Requirements of Guest Relations Executive

• High School diploma or certification in hospitality.
• 2 years of working experience in a similar role in a luxury five-star hotel environment.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• You will have excellent written and spoken English skills, additional language is advantage.
• Knowledge of hotel operating systems is a must.
• Should be able to quickly learn and adapt to a new work environment.
