GSE Mechanic Junior Maintenance Technician Dnata Airline Dubai

Dnata Airline is currently seeking a skilled and experienced GSE Mechanic (Junior Maintenance Technician) to join their team in Emirates Group Headquarters, Al Garhoud, Dubai, UAE. As a GSE Mechanical Technician, candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair and troubleshooting tasks on a wide range of ground support equipment used in the aviation industry. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 4000-7000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of GSE Mechanic

• Conduct regular inspections, maintenance and repairs on various types of ground support equipment, including but not limited to baggage carts, cargo loaders, aircraft tugs and fuel trucks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues on GSE equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter replacement and calibration, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, inspection reports and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements and best practices in GSE maintenance and repair.

Requirements for Role of GSE Mechanic

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical or automotive engineering is a plus.
• 1-2 years experience as a GSE Mechanical Technician or a similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Familiarity with various tools, equipment, and techniques used in GSE maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
