Dnata Airline seeking a skilled and experienced Ground Support Equipment (GSE) GSE Electrician Technician (Junior Maintenance Technician) to join their team in Emirates Group Headquarters, Al Garhoud, Dubai, UAE. Candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems in ground support equipment (GSE) used in aviation and transportation industries. Candidate will ensure the safe and reliable operation of electrical equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of their operations. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 4000-7000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of GSE Electrician

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair electrical systems and components in GSE equipment, including but not limited to aircraft tugs, baggage tractors and ground power units.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to identify and resolve potential issues before they become critical.
• Diagnose electrical malfunctions, using appropriate testing equipment and techniques and implement effective repair solutions.
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to troubleshoot complex electrical problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including equipment conditions, maintenance schedules and parts used.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working with electrical systems, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies and best practices related to GSE electrical systems to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements for Role of GSE Electrician

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
• 1-2 years experience as an electrical technician, preferably in the aviation or transportation industry.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with GSE equipment and its electrical systems is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
