Dubai Ports (DP) World UAE presently has a job opening for eligible candidates for the position of a Group Manager Operational Resilience (Crisis Management). Purpose of A Group Manager Operational Resilience

  • Support Group Director Business Resilience in building the capability to prevent and withstand threats & shocks to their people, business or reputation.
  • Become a trusted advisor to the business on crisis management and emergency response, to implement the operational resilience strategy and to support innovation and development within the operational resilience program.
  • By leading initiatives and driving innovation to improve the resilience of DP World, the Group Manager Operational Resilience (Crisis) will be directly contributing to ability of DP World to meet its strategic objectives.

Your Job Duties As A Group Manager Operational Resilience (Crisis Management) At Dubai Ports (DP) World

  • Support the delivery of a best in class operational resilience function including hands on responsibility for delivery of projects to develop and deliver effective Group wide incident to crisis response and business continuity frame works.
  • Primary responsibility for driving the crisis management and emergency response programs providing the business with advice, support and tools.
  • Support the delivery of resilience projects, including implementation of a Group wide mass notification tool and incident response tool.
  • Designing & delivering crisis management and emergency response training and exercising.
  • Innovate and modernise the resilience program using digitisation and creative tools to improve reach, delivery and engagement.
  • Provide clear resilience subject matter expertise to business leaders and colleagues.
  • Work with key Group stake holders like Group People, Group Communications and Group Technology.
  • Be ready to respond in the role of Crisis Coordinator if there is a live crisis.

Eligibility Criteria?

Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in recognisable resilience qualification (e.g. CBCI or risk management / disaster management).

Experience

  • 4-5 years proven experience working in a resilience role within industry or professional services.
  • Know how of IT disaster recover methods.
  • Experience of delivering ITDR testing and reviews.
  • Experience in operational resilience programs such as Incident and crisis management, business continuity and emergency response.
  • Experience in leading budgeted resilience projects within large corporate environments.

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Understanding of latest methods, including technology and cyber resilience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong problem solver, able to analyse and understand issues, problems or challenges and develop solutions to them.
  • Is self aware, foresee problems, adapts and meets them head on.
  • Strong stake holder management & relationship building.
  • Knowledge of IT disaster recovery methods.
  • Good understanding of information security and network security.
