Group Data Engineer Dubai Ports (DP) World

Dubai Ports (DP) World is actively hiring highly qualified and experienced candidate for job role of a Group Data Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for design, development, and architecture of Microsoft Azure Cloud solutions.

Responsibilities of Group Data Engineer

• Manage, monitor, and ensure the security and privacy of data to satisfy business needs.
• Design and implement data ingestion techniques for real time and batch processes for structured and unstructured data sources.
• Responsible for implementing robust data pipeline using Microsoft Stack.
• Responsible for creating reusable and scalable data pipelines.
• Responsible for development and deployment of new data platforms.
• Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working.
• Promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture.
• Azure data engineers collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and meet data requirements.
• The role requires experience with architecting and designing technical solutions using combination of Azure IaaS and PaaS.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of Group Data Engineer are as under:

• Bachelor/master’s in computer science/IT or equivalent.
• Azure certifications will be added advantage (Certification in Az-900 and/or AZ-204, AZ-303, AZ-304 or AZ-400).
• 5-8 Years in the relevant field.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms such as Azure, AWS , Google Cloud etc.
