Graduate Engineer Water AECOM Dubai

Graduate Engineer in Water at AECOM in Ubora Tower, Level 43. Al Abraj St. Business Bay, Dubai, UAE will collaborate with experienced engineers to develop designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams and project models tailored to specific discipline requirements. Candidate will assist in ensuring high quality outputs within project timelines and budgets, applying your technical knowledge and skills under supervision. Additionally, candidate will use engineering software to solve fundamental problems and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project continuity. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 8000-15000 AED/month.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs, calculations, sketches, and project models as per project requirements.
• Assist in design content to ensure high-quality outputs under project timelines.
• Perform work following agreed-upon budgets and schedules.
• Collect and analyze information from interdisciplinary project BIM models.
• Use engineering software to solve fundamental problems.
• Coordinate with other discipline Engineers to maintain design continuity.
• Participate in design progress and coordination meetings.
• Ensure the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams.
• Actively seek information, opportunities to participate, and contribute to project success.
• Solve problems and apply theoretical knowledge to project assignments.

Requirements for Role of Graduate Engineer Water

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with exposure to Water Supply and Sewerage Design, Hydraulics, environmental Engineering, Pressurized and Gravity Water Networks, Water Resources, Sustainability within the Water Industry
• Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM’s Graduate Program.
• Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.3 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.
• If you hold a Master’s Degree, it should have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelor’s Degree to ensure continuous education and meet program requirements.
• Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional-level roles instead.
• Any software experience including MS Office package, AutoCAD, GIS, Hydraulic Modelling or any relevant computer programming would be beneficial.
