Government Relations Supervisor Louzan Group Ajman

As a Government Relations Supervisor at Louzan Group in CGFJ+C8V, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Rd, Al Jerf Industrial 1, Ajman, UAE, candidate should Supervise the government relationships, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and facilitating effective communication between the organization and government authorities. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-25000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Government Relations Supervisor

  • Government Relations and Labor Law: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of government relations activities within the organization.
  • Ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the company and government entities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with relevant government authorities to support the organization’s objectives and operations.
  • Handle all sensitive and pending issues with all government entities and provide resolutions.
  • Liaison and Supervise Labor complaints.
  • Employment Visas/work permits: Oversee and supervise the process of issuing, canceling and renewing Labor contracts, employment visas, emirates ID, medical card of Louzan Group employees.
  • Ensure complains with firmed local and federal laws.
  • Ensure employees registration in ILOE scheme.
  • Take preventive and necessary actions to avoid any kind of penalties, may be imposed to the company.
  • Emiratization monitoring, registration and gistration for local employees.
  • Keep up to dated reports of Emiratization requirements and pertaining changes in MOHRE regulations.
  • Maintain employment visas and work permit to meet demographic diversification requirements.
  • Ensure quota availability across the group.
  • Maintain establishment category by ensuring implementation of demographic diversification measures for nationalities and designations.
  • Trade Licenses & Permits: Oversee and supervise new and the renewal of permits, trade licenses, trademarks and all the pertaining documents.
  • Supervise and follow-up the process of obtaining approvals from government authorities for promotions/events of Louzan Group.
  • Liaison with third parties to NOC documents and approvals for maintenance and décor permits requirements.
  • Support and ensure proper and accurate Arabic letters issuance to government entities/ employees when and where required.
  • Support in preparing, all type Memorandum of Associations, Power of Attorneys when and where required.
  • Maintain and update proper records of changes in Memorandum of Associations.
  • Identify the opportunities and advise on reducing cost of trade licenses renewal.
  • Apply necessary changes in trade licenses activities when and where required.

What you will do more

  • Leadership & Reporting: Lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous learning within the government relation team.
  • Provide regular reports to the line manager on progress, performance metrics and updates in government affairs.
  • Prepare annual semi-annual budgets required for New and renewal of employment visa processing, trade licenses and pertaining documents.
  • Maintain and track the approved budget to ensure that the budgets are in place and avoid overspending.
  • Provide excellent service and support to the employees.
  • Other responsibilities: Supervise and assign government relations team functions to follow-up with all governmental entities in regards with matters affecting the group and/or the employees, i.e. courts, Labor office, police stations, municipality or any government entity.
  • Liaison with department’s heads to handle government related activities and issues.
  • Keep updated and provide legal advice to the Management and staff in regards with government guidelines and requirements.
  • Administrate and supervisor petty cash and day to day payments of government affairs.
  • Keep a proper and up to dated checklist for documents expires.
  • Administer and oversee all company related documents and expiry reports such as, employment visas, Labor Contracts, Trade Licenses, Permits, Trade Marks. etc.

Requirements for Role of Government Relations Supervisor

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
  • 5-7 years of work experience in the field.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Strong Knowledge of UAE labor law, rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of effective government relation’s principles, methods and techniques.
  • Computer literate, excel, word, emails and latest E-Government systems and applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills impacted with changes in government regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with employees at all the levels.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and writing.
  • Leadership and Team Development.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English a must.
