Majid Al Futtaim
The Global Procurement at Majid Al Futtaim is responsible to ensure all internal and external audit reports are resolved on time, self-assessments and process controls are appropriate and executed effectively and timely, policies, processes and systems are regularly reviewed to make sure these function efficiently and effectively, supplier spend and budget data is obtained regularly from across the group, cleaned and processed through Procurement analytics as per the formats required, periodic MIS is drafted, meaningful and circulated on time to the targeted audiences, and progress against Procurement strategies, plans and budgets are recorded, validated and aligned with Finance and stakeholders. Develops and executes all related transformation and transition plans, ensuring Procurement as a function with all its processes and systems constantly and appropriately evolves in line with the wider GS and business strategies.
Duties of Global Procurement
- Development of budgets and forecasts.
- Collect consolidate and analyze monthly financial data.
- Ensure correct financial reporting across all business units through coordination with finance teams in every business unit and the corporate finance teams.
- Plan and Manage Budgets related to categories and procurement.
- Advises and creates business-driven financial analyses, ensuring alignment with business strategies, priorities, and financial requirements.
- Modeling the viability of new business efforts to include cost-benefit analyses, revenue alternatives, and costing scenarios based on the business leaders- strategic direction and input.
- To Identify Automation opportunities and create project charters and Implement.
- Oversee and own key control processes across the Majid Al Futtaim Group.
- Identify new tools for procurement analytics.
- Developing the reporting formats to deliver for the business real time data to meet the strategy and budget requirements.
- Solicit and analyse the feedback from stakeholders for the Procurement function.
- Analyse the spend profile to identify the improvement opportunities.
- Ensure Procurement is fully compliant with policies and procedures in close collaboration with internal and external auditors.
- Ensure Procurement processes, controls and systems constantly evolve to align within the wider business and Procurement strategies, and remain effective, efficient, fit for purpose, and keeping up with the state of the art.
Eligibility Requirements
The eligibility requirements for role a Global Procurement are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Min 7 years of experience.
- Experience in managing Digital Transformation projects.
- Experience in managing Automation projects.
