Job Description

GMG is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Store Manager to lead and oversee the operations of a hypermarket in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-30000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of General Store Manager

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales, profitability, and operational goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team across multiple departments.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee inventory management, stock control, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through excellent service standards and promotional campaigns.
  • Analyze business performance metrics and develop improvement strategies.
  • Implement innovative marketing and sales strategies to increase market share.

Requirements for Role of General Store Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in hypermarket with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and optimizing operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of UAE retail regulations and market trends.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and analytics tools.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
