Responsibilites of General Sourcing Vice President

• Strategic Sourcing: To develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and supplier partnerships.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation processes.
• Continuously assess market trends and supplier performance to drive sourcing improvements.
• Oversee inventory planning, demand forecasting, order fulfillment, and distribution processes.
• Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of procurement, sourcing, and supply chain professionals.
• Set performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide training and development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the department.
• Cost Control and Budgeting: Develop and manage the section budget, tracking expenses and cost-saving initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key suppliers.
• Address supplier performance issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supply disruptions and quality issues.
• Strategic Planning and Reporting: Contribute to the development and execution of the overall supply chain strategy.
• Generate and analyze procurement and supply chain reports to provide insights for decision-making.
• Present key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
