The Construction industry in Dubai is currently seeking candidate for the position of General Foreman to join them. This is a mid career, full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 3501 AED to 4000 AED which may be slightly negotiable during the interview. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resumes for consideration.

Responsibilities of General Foreman

Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate construction.
Plan and schedule construction activities to meet project deadlines.
Monitor the progress of construction projects and provide regular updates to management.
Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the construction site.
Manage the use of materials and equipment, ensuring efficient utilization and minimal waste.
Train and mentor construction workers, promoting a culture of safety and productivity.
Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage.

Requirements for the role of General Foreman

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in construction management is a plus.
Proven experience of 1-2 years as a General Foreman or in a similar supervisory role in the construction industry.
