General Cashier at DAMAC Group in DAMAC Executive Heights, TECOM, PO Box 2195, Dubai, UAE is responsible to provide daily cash and change requirements for the hotel. Maintain and disperse cash from house fund safe and petty cash fund, account for all disbursements from funds, and perform daily house bank count. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 5000-10000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of General Cashier

• To provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Paramount Hotels and Resorts Guidelines.
• To collect, with an assigned witness, all Front office/Other outlets Cashiers’ remittance envelopes from the drop-safe and to verify them against the Clerks-Cashiers’ daily witness sheet.
• To count, together with the witness, cash, cheques and other vouchers and verify them to the Clerks-Cashiers’ computerized remittance report details
• To prepare bank deposits of all cheques and cash. And to ensure that all such collections are deposited in its entirety into the relevant assigned bank account.
• Receive and record in the general cashier’s daily report and include in the daily deposit all cash. And checks received from the Accounts Receivable section as well as by mail/courier.

Requirements for Role of General Cashier

• University degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Ability to analyze large volume of complex financial information from many sources and create reports, forecasts, and projections.
• Strong problem solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate.
• A good understanding of financial operating systems and procedures.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook with the ability to quickly learn new programs when required.
