Responsibilities of Gastroenterologist

• Diagnose and treatment diseases of Digestive system & linens and biliary system.
• Examine affected organs, using equipment such as Gastroscopy & colonoscopy duodenoscopy, both for diagnosis & treatment of upper and Lower gastrointestinal treatment & biliary treats disease.
• Perform gastrointestinal procedures including: Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP for diagnostic & therapeutic purposes in addition to managing most of gastrointestinal and liver, biliary disease.
• Determine nature and extent of disorder, and prescribe and administer medications.
• Handling emergencies.
• Treatment of regular patients in patients and outpatients.
• Perform test or may prescribe medication, as the treatment plan for each patient is as unique as each condition.
• Perform necessary surgeries to fix any problems within this area of the body.

Prerequisites for Gastroenterologist

Following are the requirements for the role of Gastroenterologist at Zulekha Hospital Dubai:

• Masters/DM (Gastroenterology).
• 5+ years working in a Reputed Hospital + ERCP Experience is must.
• MOH / DHA Active license / Evaluation certificate.
