Fund Manager Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of Fund Manager. The selected candidate is responsible to manage investment funds and portfolios, conduct research and financial analysis, prepare presentations and reports on ADCB’s funds in order to support ADCB’s fund management strategy.

Responsibilities of Fund Manager

• Conduct in depth fundamental and technical research/analysis of securities across industries, sectors and regions and identify investment opportunities to assist in forecasting potential investment fund opportunities for the bank.
• Assist the line manager in managing ADCB funds and/or portfolios, and conduct trading and implementation for the investment funds and portfolios managed by ADCB while ensuring that trades adhere to the regulations of regulatory bodies.
• Participate in daily meetings and develop reports on news and developments relating to companies/sectors/markets covered in order to keep the line manager informed, and enable appropriate decision making.
• Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.
• Manage self in line with the bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance.

Requirements of Fund Manager

The requirements of Fund Manager are as under:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent specialisation.
• At least 5 years of experience as a financial/investment analyst in the investment or asset management industry and with hands on research experience in either financials, industrials, real estate, basic materials or services.
