Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) presently has a job opening for an eligible candidate for the position of a Functional Senior Analyst. Founded in 1993, ENOC is a Dubai-based state-owned oil and gas company. ENOC operates in various segments of the energy sector, including exploration, production, refining, and marketing of petroleum products. ENOC has a significant presence in Dubai & is responsible for managing the supply & distribution of petroleum products in the emirate. It also operates a network of service stations across Dubai and provides a wide range of fuel products, including gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel. In addition to its core business of oil and gas, ENOC has diversified into other areas such as aviation, lubricants, and convenience stores.

Purpose of A Functional Senior Analyst

Responsible for assisting in the design, delivery, and improvement of applications, systems or ERP modules.

Duties of a Functional Senior Analyst

  • Should be able to work independently as well as in team. Must possess good analytical and problem solving skills. Should possess ability to explain technical matters in non-technical terms to customers.
  • Should be able to effectively communicate with customers, team members and product vendors on matters related to all functional or technical areas.
  • Document & maintain Knowledge database to share experience and knowledge with team members to enhance efficiency and reduce single person dependence.
  • Coordinate work tasks with customer, team members and product vendors to perform tasks assigned efficiently in timely manner.
  • Analyses business needs & conceptualises solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Should be customer centric, achieve customer satisfaction and maintain proper perspective in all activities.
  • Planning and implementing ERP modules and / or additional functionalities in the areas of finance, HR, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Projects and others.
  • Assessing the feasibility of adopting new modules, features and functionalities.
  • Participating in committees responsible for upgrading or implementing new solutions and improving processes.
  • Formulating functional and technical requirements/specifications in coordination with business owners.
  • Identifies and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions.
  • Providing internal consultancy for the Managers regarding solutions or business process improvement opportunities.
  • Participating/carrying out software maintenance and updating the Information system in a timely manner when requested.

Who Can Apply?


  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or business field or equivalent


  • Product Certification in SAP like FI/CO, MM etc.


  • 7+ of Information Technology experience
  • 3+ years of relevant working experience
