Jumeirah Group presently has job opening for eligible candidate for position of a Front Desk Manager. The aspiring candidate will work at Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai (subsidiary of Jumeirah Group). Job Purpose of A Front Desk Manager

To oversee and ensure the efficient operation of the front desk or reception area in a business, hotel, or organization, providing excellent customer service and managing staff.

Duties of A Front Desk Manager

• Ensures that all activities adhere to and support the Jumeirah International Quality Management System.
• Primary focus on overall operation at the reception, duty management, guest services, rooms controlling, compliance.
• Ensure that guests are receiving the best possible service at the Front Desk, monitor the comfort and well-being of the guests, whereby health and safety regulations are followed.
• Assist in maintaining and / or develop agreed operating procedures involved in the Front Office.
• To ensure that front office colleagues adhere to the correct procedures as laid down in the operating manuals .
• Discuss Night Audit discrepancies with the team and follow up on their corrections.
• Performing monthly, quarterly and yearly appraisals for the colleagues, performance management and participate in recruitment.
• Actively elicit guest feedback and preferences, regarding hotel services and ensure action is initiated on the same to maximize guest satisfaction.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• High school graduate.

Experience

• 3-5 years of previous proven experience.

Skills Desired 

• Proficient in spoken and written business English.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective communication skills with all levels of colleagues and management at all levels.
• Multilingual with proficiency in at least one additional language.
