French Teacher – GEMS Royal Dubai School
GEMS Royal Dubai School is seeking a qualified French Teacher to deliver Modern Foreign Languages across secondary year groups. This role offers an opportunity to promote French language and culture within a vibrant, multicultural school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach French from Year 7 through to GCSE and A-Level
- Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading and writing skills
- Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level French examinations
- Create engaging, immersive lessons using authentic French-language materials
- Organise cultural events and French conversation clubs
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in French, Modern Languages or related discipline
- PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching French at secondary level
- Native or near-native fluency in French
- Experience with Cambridge, Edexcel or AQA French syllabi
Salary and Benefits
- Tax-free salary: AED 12,000 – 18,000 per month
