Form Tutor – Primary – GEMS Westminster School, Sharjah

GEMS Westminster School in Sharjah invites applications from enthusiastic educators for the role of Primary Form Tutor. This position requires a dedicated teacher who can deliver the British curriculum at primary level while providing pastoral care as a form tutor.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Form Tutor for a designated primary class, providing daily pastoral support
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across core primary subjects
• Monitor student attendance, behaviour and academic progress
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student welfare
• Contribute to the school’s enrichment programme and assemblies

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Mathematics or a related subject
• PGCE, QTS, B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years of primary teaching experience in a British curriculum school
• Strong pastoral care skills
• Knowledge of the English National Curriculum at KS1 and KS2

Salary and Benefits

• Tax-free salary: AED 10,000 – 15,000 per month
