The role of a Foreman (Mechanic MS – Das) at ADNOC is to ensure the availability and good condition of all kind of machineries, to provide a high standard quality of repairs and overhauling. Job ID for this vacancy is 21970.

Duties Of A Foreman

• Repair/overhaul all kind of tugs/vehicles machineries.
• Ability to take own initiative in troubleshooting situations.
• Ability to interpret drawing and order spares accordingly.
• Ability to clear reports after job repair.
• Supervise, control, and liaise between the team members.
• Ability in assessing job risks preventing mishaps and ensuring that the team members adhere to the company rules and regulations.
• Install facility machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery.
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
• Communicate with operators from other shifts.
• Maintain and secure work tools.
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Perform back-up for assembly line.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Identify tools and machinery inventory parts required.

Eligibility Requirements For A Foreman

The eligibility requirements for the role of a Foreman are as under.

• High school diploma.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the same or similar role.
• Holding a UAE driving license will be a big advantage.

Skills Desired

• Basic reading, writing, and some advanced arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced skills (Journeyman level) required in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, piping systems.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create blueprints and schematics.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
