Responsibilities of Food & Beverage Supervisor
- Oversee daily operations of assigned food & beverage outlet(s), ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Lead and motivate team members, delegating tasks, providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout the outlet, adhering to safety regulations.
- Control inventory levels, managing stock orders, and minimizing wastage.
- Implement cost-effective measures to optimize food & beverage expenditure.
- Ensure accurate billing and cash handling procedures, preparing financial reports.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular outlet inspections and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new food & beverage initiatives.
- Liaise with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure menu accuracy and quality.
- Attend daily briefings and meetings, actively participating in team discussions.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, upholding brand standards.
- Assist in leading, mentoring and training the Food & Beverage Operations team.
- Supervise and delegate duties; Ensure brand standards are maintained.
- Liaise with kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal.
Requirements of Food & Beverage Supervisor
The requirements of Food & Beverage Supervisor are as under:
- High School diploma or equivalent or certification/diploma in hospitality.
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Service focused personality is essential and a passion for everything food and beverage.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example.
