Food and Beverage Manager Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab Dubai

An opportunity has arisen for a Food and Beverage Manager to join the team in Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab at Jumeirah Beach Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is an Intermediate level full time job. For this job the salary ranges from 6000-12000 AED/month which may be slightly negotiable during interview process.

Responsibilities of Food and Beverage Manager

  • Assists in the co-ordination of organizational and administrative functions of the delegated F&B outlets.
  • Assists in planning and implementing programs, policies and procedures to ensure that the standards are met.
  • To ensure that the departmental objectives are cascaded to the delegated teams.

Administrational

  • Assists in establishing standards of performance and job descriptions of colleagues.
  • Participates in public relations activities, sales calls or other promotional activities designed at enhancing the image and profitability of the delegated F&B outlets.
  • Ensure up-to-date hard copies of department SOPs are maintained at all times.

Operational

  • Assists in conducting briefing with the outlet managers and outlet general managers.
  • Meeting and interacts with representatives of the local community and potential guests as required.
  • Assists in monitoring the activities of competitive hotels/restaurants.
  • Assists outlet managers and outlet general managers to fulfil their responsibilities.

Financial

  • Participates in the preparation of the annual business plan and sales and marketing plans.
  • Monitors closely the profitability of all food and beverage outlets.
  • Provides solutions to improve problem areas and assists in implementing corrective measures.
  • To assist each outlet manager in the planning and implementation of effective sales and promotional activities to ensure maximum revenues

Requirements of Food and Beverage Manager

  • Degree in Relevant Area
  • 1-2 years previous or current experience in a similar role, overseeing a diverse range of F&B outlets, preferably in a large, multi-faceted luxury hospitality brand or group.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive highly dynamic operations, with a preferred pre-opening experience.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Strong passion, creativity and innovation in food and beverage concepts and operations.
  • Track record of demonstrable achievements in enhancing guest satisfaction scores and profitability.
