Emirates Airlines is presently hiring suitably qualified & skilled Flying Instructor for its Flights Training Academy. The selected candidate will be responsible to provide Flying training to cadets at single engine as well as twin engine fleet. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are invited to submit their applications along with documents mentioned below.

Purpose of A Flying Instructor At Emirates Airlines

  • Deliver high quality flying training instruction, initially on SR-22 single engine aircraft to ab-initio pilot cadets at academy.
  • Instructional duties include on aircraft, in simulato and on ground instruction, preparation of lessons, pre and post flight briefings, accurate report writing and assessment.
  • In the later stages, move onto training on DA42 twin engine fleet.

Job Duties of A Flying Instructor At Emirates Airlines

  • Provide training and flying instruction to ab-initio cadets.
  • Conduct pre & post flight training briefings to ensure cadets have requisite knowledge and understand the process and procedure fully.
  • Conduct and deliver flying skills training in aircraft, simulator & on ground instruction to ensure the cadets meet the prescribed standards of flying.
  • Conduct regular checks for cadets to ensure they meet the course standards.
  • Ensure the safety of cadets and report incidents (if any) to concerned personnel for any violations and situations that may affect the safety of the operation.
  • Monitor cadet’s proficiency and progress on regular basis and generate accurate reports of their performance.
  • Research, develop and recommend new training methods to further improve the standard of learning and performance.
  • Deliver other flying related training initiatives as directed by the CFI.

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum GCAA or any ICAO Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a single engine class rating.
  • Minimum flight instructor rating with night and instrument privileges.
  • Class 1 medical certificate without restrictions.
  • Minimum 700 hrs Total Time, 350hrs Instructional time, 200hrs IFR time.
  • Ab initio flying instructional experience of 3 plus years in a large ATO.

Skills Desired

  • ICAO english language proficiency level 5 or greater.
  • Exceptional instructional technique with an understanding of a broad range of teaching methodologies.
  • Computer literate.

What Documents Are Required?

  • CV.
  • Passport.
  • CPL/ATPL license or certificate.
  • Class 1 medical certificate with no limitations (except visual corrections).
  • Last 3 pages of logbook.
  • ICAO english language proficiency certificate.
  • No incident/accident certificate issued by a Civil Aviation Authority.
  • Licence verification letter, as this is required by GCAA for Licence conversion.
