Fire Protection Senior Team Leader Transguard Group Dubai

Departments Group is currently recruiting for a Fire Protection Senior Team Leader in Dubai who will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and audit of fire protection systems within the terminal service delivery facilities. This role involves leading a team of engineers and collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and standards. The incumbent will provide technical expertise, guidance, to support the terminal’s fire protection assessment project. This is a senior level full time role. For this role the salary ranges from 12000 AED to 25000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Duties of Fire Protection Senior Team Leader

• Oversee the design and engineering efforts for fire protection systems, including fire suppression, detection, and alarm systems.
• Conduct detailed analysis and calculations to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of proposed fire protection solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate fire protection systems into terminal infrastructure projects.
• Provide support to the Fire Detection Senior Engineer SME in Engineering Services during the delivery phase of the Strategy & Planning led Airport Fire Assessment project executed by company.
• Coordinate phasing and logistics interfaces with the consultant and company’s Stakeholders and Business Units.
• Interpret and apply relevant fire codes, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Review design plans and specifications to verify compliance with applicable fire safety codes and standards.
• Provide guidance and recommendations for achieving code compliance throughout the design and construction phases.
• Execute fire protection projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approvals and permits.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or obstacles, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

Eligibility Requirements for Fire Protection Senior Team Leader

• Bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in similar role.

Skills Desired

• Ability to understand and interpret fire protection drawings.
• Technical knowledge of fire protection code requirements for both passive and active systems. Familiarity with fire detection and firefighting systems.
• Interpretation of cause-and-effect matrix.
• Understanding of NFPA and UAE Fire Safety Codes.
