Financial Analyst Talabat Dubai

Talabat is looking for a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing current and past financial data and performance, and preparing reports and projections based on this analysis key performance metrics, variance analysis, identifying trends and red flagging adverse events that could impact the business. This is a mid level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 5000 AED to 10000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Responsibilities of Financial Analyst

• Analyzing current and past financial data and performance, and preparing reports and projections based on this analysis key performance metrics, variance analysis, identifying trends and red flagging adverse events that could impact the business.
• Provide detailed analysis and commentary on Business Unit results on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Coordinate with accounting staff, interact with senior management to prepare data for monthly/quarterly performance.
• Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
• Perform ad hoc analysis where required to assist in critical decision making.
• Manage, use, implementation and development of online analytical reporting tools and design efficient reports and databases.
• Active participation in process optimization initiatives for Finance.
• Gauging the company’s overall financial health, primarily by using key financial ratios such as the debt to equity ratio, current ratio, and interest coverage ratio.
• Cost savings and capital optimization initiatives.
• Positively develops relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
• Act as a strong advocate of organization’s strategy and principles.
• Operate with integrity, building and maintaining trust with all stakeholders.
• Develop a strong understanding of the challenges and specific needs of the stakeholders.
• Uses emerging technologies to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Elgibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for the role of a Financial Analyst are as under:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business or related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant working experience in Financial Analysis.

Skills Desired

• General knowledge of accounting / financial / operational principles basic knowledge of IFRS.
• Strong financial modelling, financial planning, statistical & information analysis, and analytical skill.
• Attention to detail with the ability to identify data patterns and conduct root cause analysis.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint – preference for candidates with knowledge of Tableau, MS Power BI, VBA, Dashboard Development, Automation, and other data manipulation tools.
