Finance Product Officer EPM Emirates Airlines Dubai

The Product Management Officer (Financial Applications & Masters) at Emirates Airlines in Garhoud Area opposite to Airport Terminal 3, Dubai, UAE will supports the Product Owner/Controller (Financial Applications & Masters) to manage and deliver the financial systems enhancements and support for Finance on a global scale, to ensure the provision of best in class financial systems, applications and management information for use internally by Finance and across the business, including to inform/enable commercial decisions. Candidate is expected to provide support across multiple environments with primary focus on EPM Cloud applications for Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting. Support and take ownership of enhancements and integrations with other applications, by collaborating with cross functional teams, including IT and other stakeholders to ensure the implementation and project management of initiatives across the Finance application landscape. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 8000-15000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Finance Product Officer

• Support across multiple environments with primary focus on EPM Cloud applications for Consolidation, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting.
• Support and take ownership of enhancements and integrations with other applications, by collaborating with cross functional teams, including IT and other stakeholders to ensure the implementation and project management of initiatives across the Finance application landscape.
• Ensure all financial applications support is provided in line with respective Service Level Agreement (SLAs) helping to keep the lights with support from IT. It is expected that the person in this role suggests root cause fixes towards permanent resolution for identified recurring issues.
• Provide consultancy & business support related to financial applications, assisting the end-user community to utilize systems effectively and helping enable the evolving business processes via solutions provided through improved system functionality on a continuous basis.
• Explore & suggest new features in financial applications to continuously improve the products under management. This applies to internal and external (vendor-based) applications.
• Maintain regression test packs, conduct first level of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features, enhancements & bug-fixes for financial applications.
• Find innovative ways to continuously improve the testing cycle for FA&MM, optimizing time and resources for the department.
• Help write Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs), user guides and setup/configuration documents for systems (core configuration) & functional masters for financial applications.
• Action user access management & functional masters update requests while being compliant with defined policies, standard operating procedures (SoPs) and SLAs to help protect group assets.

• Support periodical review of users and operational masters to ensure maintenance of healthy master data compliant to policies and processes.
• Configure applications in line with the approved setup & configuration documents to maintain the respective financial application in good health to ensure accurate financial information processing.
• Understand the existing business processes being supported and support the change enablers in training & adoption.
• Manage own performance & continuous learning plan. Help improve performance of the unit, help other members in the team with their development to support succession planning.

Requirements for Role of Finance Product Officer

• Degree or Honors (12+3 or equivalent)  In Technology, Finance or Accounting related.
• 2+ yrs in large multi-national companies in a solution support capacity, in financial management and systems implementation, focused on Cloud based applications/product management.
• Experience in handling master management functions, preferably in an airline or aviation group.

• Global Finance EPM Cloud implementation.
