Chalhoub Group is actively seeking experienced and qualified individual to take on the role of Finance Manager in Dubai. Candidate will provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, analyze financial data to support decision-making & ensure compliance with relevant regulations & policies. Responsibilities of Finance Manager

  • Oversee the operations of the Finance Department, provide expertise, encourage teamwork & facilitate related professional work processes to achieve high performance standards & staff pride in contribution.
  • Monitor budget vs actuals of the Chalhoub Group for all PL and BS metrics along with other financial & non-financial indicators.
  • Working cross-functionally with the verticals to understand “why” and “how”, not just the “what” of variations.
  • Lead the completion and aggregation of monthly management reporting to ExCom for the full Group highlighting key performance and finance indicators.
  • Variance versus Budget and defining and tracking corrective actions plans to be implemented by vertical leads.
  • Lead & manage the overall budget & latest estimate process for the Group, recommending& implementing system and process.
  • Ensure implementation of a robust and enhanced internal control environment.
  • Review current processes & suggest & implement improvements working cross functionally with Vertical finance to ensure that it works for all areas.
  • Working with Data and Tech to ensure dashboards and data flows continue to provide accurate and complete information to all teams.
  • Coach and develop a team of finance members.
  • Work with HR to ensure appropriate training programs are delivered to all members of the community and monitor key staff progress.
  • Assign individual objectives for employee performance management purposes, manage performance, empower staff.
  • Provide formal and informal feedback to support professional development and maximize performance.

Requirements for Role of Finance Manager

  • A qualified MBA, ACCA, CA, ACA, CIMA or equivalents.
  • At least 8 years of experience.
  • Experience in Luxury retail or FMCG Industries.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Strong management skills.
