Jumeirah Creekside Hotel is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of Finance Assistant. The job holder will be responsible for controls in assigned finance related activities and compliance to Jumeirah Finance Directives.
Responsibilities of Finance Assistant
- May be required to work outside as and when required.
- The Finance Assistant ensures all revenue related control procedures are in place.
- Responsible for the accurate transfer of data from Opera Cloud to ERP AR accounts and daily credit cards reconciliation process.
- To ensure the Opera Cloud guest ledger, city ledger, package ledger and advance deposit ledger are balanced with the ERP daily.
- To support the Income Audit Supervisor on auditing the revenue related. activities, assisting in the preparation of analytical and monthly reports.
- Ensure banquet controls are in place.
- Complete daily credit cards reconciliation.
- To support the Accounts Receivable Supervisor on sending the invoices to the clients on daily basis.
- Conduct the spot check of each outlet once a week.
- To review the discounts transactions daily, calculate the cost of A&G, Complimentary Food & Beverage expenses.
Requirements of Finance Assistant
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Hospitality Industry in the same position.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word)
- Good knowledge of MS Outlook
- Working knowledge of Opera and Micros/Simphony.
- High competency level of accurate calculations.
