Job Description

Finance Analyst (SAP) at Sharaf Retail will be responsible for ensuring the new SAP system meets the requirements for managing and reporting all the financial transactions for Sharaf retail across assigned brands and locations in line with all local and international auditing standards and delivers optimized internal financial process, operations and reporting.

Responsibilities of Finance Analyst

  • To lead the roll-out & implementation of SAP to measure, monitor and manage the financial operations for all Sharaf Retail operations in all locations.
  • Ensuring optimized process and document control, accuracy of records and making recommendations for improvements to existing management processes.
  • Work with SAP project team to ensure the timely, efficient & effective design, roll-out & implementation of company SAP system to manage.
  • Optimize the organization’s financial processes & systems that enhance operational efficiency, streamline financial workflows, reduce costs.
  • Maximize the use of resources and profitability.
  • Ensure the SAP roll-out delivers accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with all financial laws, regulations and accounting standards, with regular reporting to key shareholders and stakeholders to communicate the company’s financial performance, strategy and outlook.
  • Ensure the SAP roll-out provides financial insights and analysis to support key decision-makers within the organization, helping them make informed choices regarding investments, cost management, pricing strategies and business objectives.
  • External: Stablish good relationship with the SAP project team to ensure timely project delivery & ongoing operational excellence.
  • Internal: Work closely with the SAP team, the wider finance operations and the other department functions across the organization.
  • Ensure to align & optimize all processes.
  • Ensure accurate timely recording & reporting.

Requirements for Role of Finance Analyst

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a similar.
  • 5+ years finance operations experience within the retail industry – fashion retail would be ideal.
  • Must be SAP experienced and a process knowledge expert; a super-user is a plus.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

Good communications skills (SRW) in English.
